Hello Everybody,
I'm new to Comicgenesis but still I have plenty experience working with computers and digital graphics. I don't think that I've made any major mistake or pushed the wrong button.
I've just begun with ComicGenesis. But I can't access my first (and until now only) page simply surfing with Firefox. The address should be http://yka.comicgenesis.com
There should be on this one Gif with 2 strips in it which I uploaded for a test.
FTP-Connection seems to be working fine (only I can't judge the result. I can't access this page from nowhere)
If somebody knows how to help or even has just an explanation, I'd be very grateful.
Can't even go to my Page [solved]

There's no index.html file in the public_html folder, that's why.
Make sure that you have a file called indextemplate.html and a file called dailytemplate.html in the workspace folder and they will create the index.html file for you.
Also, comic images are uploaded to the workspace/comics folder and when the server updates your comic, it'll move them to the public_html/comics folder as well as creating the html code in the public_html/d folder.
For more info on how CG works (which is slightly different to a standard web host) read up on the tutorials in the Wiki (link in my sig).

Thanks a lot, Dr. Neo Lao!
It worked. Wonderful.
Then of course, I tried to make it all better and to add a couple more pages, following this tutorial
and then especially Step12:Add Your Comic and the steps after.
Didn't work out ideally.
If you have the time (and only if you have the time: I'll probably find it all out by myself after some try-outs and testings and experimenting), I'd like to be explained why we can't (or shouldn't) upload everything with simple FTP-Transfers? The steps12-13-etc... of this tutorial just don't exactly function as described and it's tough to check if updates and uploads have been really done and actualized. Or how to actualize them.
Well anyway, thanks again for your quick help.
Thanks to you and to ComicGenesis for this wondeful Comic Hosting Web Site.
That's great!

Step 12 you only need to do once.
It's there so that you can have multiple comics under one account, should you need to. Once a comic is added to your forum account, you can modify it's settings and upload pogs, newsbox images, etc.
Step 13 you will only need to do rarely. It's there so that if you (for example) change the look of your comic and want to see the result semi-quickly, you don't have to wait until your next update. Normally, the comic will be updated automatically once every 24 hours anyway, so most of the time you would skip that.
If you have triggered an update, then it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours for th update to actually go through. This is because when you trigger an update, you're not forcing an update, you're just adding your comic to the update queue.
Also note that if you click "update" again before your comic is processed, it's pulled out of it's place and put at the end of the queue again.
The 'best' way to update your comic (once you're happy with the templates) is to simply ftp your comic images to workspace/comics. You can even upload comics in advance so that the server updates them on the day that they are meant to go up.
The reason for having the server create the html instead of you doing it yourself is so that you can use the keentags. Read up on these and you'll see the advantages to the system.
