I worked 4pm-12:30am last night. So no fireworks for me.

I don't think we got overtime either. Just ice cream. But I like ice cream.

lol, I wasn't born here, nor my parents, or their parents.....but my parents insist on celebrating. Whatever.

Turkey, I think, is now my favorite bird. yum. And that's reason enough to celebrate.

We had quite the multi-cultural Thanksgiving, with quite a few Frenchmen and a couple of Englishwomen, along with, of course, us Americans.

Englishwoman: "And the French have adapted to the holiday?"
Frenchman: "What holiday!"
American: "Of course, any reason to have a party!"

It was fun.

at least you don't go to your partners where you couldn't eat the food. They made everything with bacon at my girlfriend's. All I could eat was pumpkin bread, rolls, fruit salad, and less than one serving of turkey they had left. I did get to eat apple pie, pumpkin pie, and cheese cake instead.

I have something of a modest budget, so everybody is getting stainless steel water bottles (good for the environment and yourself!) and big 'ol chocolate bars.

Oh, I'm not saying I don't have a modest budget. I just get tired of being the poor one

. So, I usually spend the rest of the year making up for Christmas.

My favorite part of Christmas is really the lights... and wrapping presents. Doesn't matter what's in the wrapping, I just really like wrapping things
