Why are YOU eccentric?

Felt like starting a new topic...ya don't have to list all your reasons at once...since we don't have too many people on here, the thread might be pretty short that way!

I'll start. Even though the lids on the woodchuck ciders are twist-off, I use the bottle opener on them.

I own a shortwave radio and actually use it. That's pretty eccentric these days (here in the States at least).

I tend to eat things like chips, fries, pretzels, even vegetables like green beans, brussels sprouts and so on. in pairs.

I collect superballs.

the texture of wood really gets to me unless it's been freshly taken from a tree (not treated or whatever the hell it is they do to it), polished and/or lacquered.

and I'm talkin', I HATE tongue depressors and popsicle sticks. won't even eat a popsicle unless I know it's on a plastic stick and not a wooden one.

I have something against babies. They freak me out. Don't even want to get near one of the things.

I sort my different-colored candy (like gobstoppers) into groups that consist of one of every available color.

then I eat the group that consists of only one color.. before moving on to the one that consists of two, etc.

I have an obsession with picking at dried paint and glue. It has to be on the containers or my hands, though.

I have to eat Skittles in threes if they're a larger bag.

I wear mismatched socks a lot of the time.

I sort my candy by color too, but I always save the best for last...like m&ms have to be eaten in this order: Brown, orange or yellow (that varies depending on the day), red, green, and finally blue.

I shout "son of Frank'n'furter" when I'm surprised. The heathens look at me like I've grown a second head. The Rocky Whore-ers look at me in shock and say "how the **** would that work!?!?!?!?".

I think that Tim Curry is a million times more dreamy than Orlando Bloom. Especially when he's in a corset and fishnets. *drools*

I used to have to start walking on a new flooring or a staircase with my left foot. If I didn't, I'd have to hop twice on my left to start over.

I have to crack my right heel exactly four times or else I have to do it again.

certain favorite songs of mine get listened to a LOT--on repeat.

I haven't listened to much music, other than American Doll Posse, because I've been listening to the PBS Soundstage performance of Black Dove when I do feel like listening to something.

I do that too with the repeating songs sometimes. I also go through artist phases...right now I'm listening to 'Marry Me Jane' a lot.
