You are confusing me now, Komiyan. Are you talking about Bob or me? Moreso, I have no idea what went down in that thread yet because I haven't looked. I never said "YOU do better", nor asked for critique to begin with. You do realize that in the post you just quoted, that I (which is me) was attacking myself (me again) in that post, right?
I was talking about Bob, not you. I had no idea what your post was about! :P It looked like it was complaining at me, sorry.

Remember when I made that thread which was like Doodles but instead it was a place where people would post material for the explicit purpose of being critiqued, and how everyone was all "Why did you bother making a thread like that? GAW!"? Yeah.

Oh come on people. Two mods and an admin shouldn't have to wrangle this, of all the threads on OT. :(

We've got some nice, or at least interesting, doodles here - let's let the thread get back to them.

To be fair, I was mostly the one who said that. And I got shouted down - that thread died on its own. But after this, I won't be the one saying there isn't a need for it anymore.

See, I was all for that idea because then we're not tempted by habit to try to help people in here, who then get defensive about it and up our prey drive.

Look over there, everyone! A blatant attempt to salvage a perfectly good thread! :D

I'm not quite done with this yet. It's going to be part of my Halloween costume. It needs more silver danglies on the cheeks, I think. I found some that I could use, but I'm not sure how I should attach them. Hmmm.

Some people choose to make their women sexy, others choose to make them cute, but this is just bad anatomy. I know mine isn't excellent, but it REALLY isn't even super-hero anatomy anymore... just... ugh. Sorry if that sounded a little aggressive, but it WAS quite a picture.

It is a bit, yes. :shifty: There it slid down my face a little, so it's worse than usual. But even so, it has a limited field of vision.

How does that bottom part stay on? Fishing line?
Nevertheless, it is filled with amazing detail. :D Reminds me of Venice.

Cool fella on the left, looks distinctly disgruntled.

Bought some new pens today, did a quick sketch to test 'em out. Surprisingly quick in fact, this is a ten minute drawing :|

Thinking of starting a 'challenge rickford to draw a celebrity in [x amount of time] thread'.

Good! =D The flash lit them up, but usually they're more shadowed. But it's good that they bend in with the mask anyhow...I didn't want to distract from the mask's eyes. Actually, the mask's eyes didn't really turn out here. They're much more iridescent and flashy, with golds an greens and blues.

There? I used masking tape. XD Normally, though, I think that I would use spirit gum. That's the stuff used to attach fake moustaches and such on to one's face. However, I'm as yet unsure as to how it will react to contact with the mask. If it reacts poorly, then I'll just put a backing on it and use the spirit gum on that.

It's all rather experimental. :D

It is a common occurrence amongst the female population.

... Ah, who am I kidding?

The male population too.
