Not exactly new
I'm not exactly new to ComicGenesis, I was having technical difficulties with my old forum account, and an administrator told me I had to create a new account and make two posts with it before I could log in to my comic's site administration.
So, here's one of those two posts that I have to make.

Learn to spell (Grisham, not Grissom), know what you're talking about, use punctuation (like periods. You remeber those?), and for the love of GOD don't start off your life on these forums by insulting people!!Supermans Pubes wrote:Wow glad to see you had time to step away from whatever you do all day to break out the home CSI kit and come to a wrong conclusion of me being all 3 or 4 of the names you speak of, dig deeper Grissom the truth is out there.
And as for everyone else, be nice to the newbies. Today's N00b could be tomorrow's McDuffies! Or Yeahduff. Or Mercury Hat. Or Legostar! The possibilities are endless!
Need me to kill someone? I'm a hired assasin in my spare time.

I was right I did not mean Grisham the author but the guy from CSI Gill Grissom, and I do know what periods are they appear every 28 days and last about 5.Sketchywallflowr wrote:Learn to spell (Grisham, not Grissom), know what you're talking about, use punctuation (like periods. They're going to DIE?!?Sketchywallflowr wrote: And as for everyone else, be nice to the newbies. Today's N00b could be tomorrow's McDuffies! Or Yeahduff. Or Mercury Hat. Or Legostar! The possibilities are endless!
Anyway for all the newbs, take time to lurk, I find the comic pitching and technical tips and tricks forums are a great place to find useful info and gauge the attitudes of people.
Worked for me, I have no enemies!
Ah, but there is a clear distinction between newbs and n00bs. The latter rarely redeem themselves (though I've seen it happen once...)Sketchywallflowr wrote:And as for everyone else, be nice to the newbies. Today's N00b could be tomorrow's McDuffies! The only thing SP has done besides make a bunch of dick-joke handles and spam GD was question everyone's sexuality in the "Things I Like" thread.rkolter wrote:Ok, enough snipeing and meanness and rudeness. No names, no harm, no foul, just let's let the thread be useful for what it's intended for.
(That's supposed to be welcoming newbies)
It's kinda fun watching people skip over his teenaged impression of a lout and talk to him like he's an actual person, don't get me wrong, but Spoder Mon blazed this trail years ago and did it a lot better too. We deserve a higher class of troll.

Ok if I were a troll I would be high class, now to address a couple of things, first off I do know a few good fart jokes which I will spare you of at this time, next item again I only made one screen name which is this one would someone please post on here that can see the ip address of each one and help me redeem myself, and as far as the things I like thread get a sense of humor was only meant to be a little pop shot jokingly, guess humor is offensive around here. Lighten up people life is way too short to be so damn serious.

Haha... well. I guess I'm the current new comer here on Comic Genesis... It sure takes a while to get used to the little gritty details of maintenance between the Forum, FTP, the Admin section and the Wiki board, but the more I see, the more secure I find myself feeling.
...it's so sad to say this is almost like a perfect-level video game... Not too difficult that I get frustrated and leave, but not so simple that I don't feel challenged. My comic http://fracturedharmonics.comicgenesis.com is only up to its sixth page, and while I have a great deal more drawn and am only taking my time posting weekly to make sure I can keep UP with my schedule, it's probably best to wait on plugging it too hard just yet.
...good lord I've seen some hilarious posts even in THIS thread so far... I'll be here a while looking around >_<!

And with that comment, you have fallen into the good graces of half the forum. Good luck, and here's to hoping you stick around to charm the other half!Chelsee wrote:...it's so sad to say this is almost like a perfect-level video game...
