Hello folks.
Evil Overlords United started Jan. 8th, and is in the process of conquering all of your worlds.
*EDIT* Using the correct URL helps, yes?

Octoberish is a comic I started about two months ago, which updates every wednesday.
The main theme of the comic is imagination. It's less pretentious than it sounds. Please enjoy!

I started Rice Boy in April 06. It's a psychedelic kind of adventure story, and I published a book of the first 90 pages late 2006. It's a very different format and better than a lot of other comics, but not as good as some. Thanks for looking!
Too late for nominations of course, yeah.

I didn't know about this thread until a few minutes ago. Anyway, here's my comic, Educated.
http://educated.comicgenesis.com
I started the comic in October 2006 and at this point, I have almost 1,500 hits with virtually no advertising whatsoever. I have no banners, no little front-page pics, no nothing! I hope you like it.

Bear and Kitten is about a month old. We have been working on getting a good archive going, and so far have been pretty conistent with biweekly updates.
Also check out Bunny Knife Fight linked on our homepage. It's just a cute mini project.

Wow, activity is picking up. Welcome, all!
As long as it debuted within the previous year's time, it counts as "new." The next awards start at the turn of the year (December or January, I think). Voters may be influenced as much by the size of a comic's archives as the art or writing quality however, but these forums will hopefully be here for everyone to state their own opinions--and try to sway others'.
Biweekly sounds like you're off to a great start! Congratulations!

In order to clearly see what is in the shadows, you must first enter them.

My comic, Prince of Ice started in October (or possibly november) of 2006. My first comic also started in october although I won't link to there (no one needs to see the art of that one, although it could be used to punish criminals "augh! the bad porportions! it burns! it burns!" ...anyways...)
also, my *new* comic, Mage Story started in, um... *checks* february. it's only 1o pages, plus an intro, so far, but I'm working on it... or should be working on it... or would be working on it if I wasn't typing this... *goes away to work on it*

I am Catman Webb, and am very involved in wildlife sanctuaries (mostly endangered and threatened species). I founded Top Of The Rock Animal Sanctuary near 2 decades ago, and am still going.
I started the The Tigerman Saga in September of 2006, a week after acquiring Daz Studio3D and Bryce. I have no claims of being good at these programs, but maybe just good enough by now, to back up a fairly strong storyline (takes a few pages to get rolling). I try to get a new page (Chapter) out once a week, usually Saturday nights.
The Tigerman Saga is created in support of the National Wildlife Humane Society, and there is a link at the bottom of every page to the NWHS website.
I have many time constraints on my life, so I realize my skills at this artistic endeavor will never advance enough to win any awards, but the subliminal messages in the storyline and support for NWHS makes it worthwhile. (Plus, I enjoy the escapism, as I hope the readers do also).
I am thoroughly enjoying viewing the far superior works such as Dreamland Chronicles, Crimson Dark, The Broken Mirror, Inverloch, (on and on). So many, so much better.
There is a cadre of some loyal viewers of The Tigerman Saga probably because they haven't discovered these aforementioned more artistic sites. The T'man story does keep them coming back for more, so I guess that might count for something.
I look forward to perusing many more webcomics of all genres.
