So yes, oblivion.

People singing along with a song I'm trying to listen to. Yes, I like the song too, can I listen to it now and not to your crappy rendition?
When people go "OMG YOU HAVE NOT LIVED!" when I tell them I'm allergic to tomatoes. I don't say that to people who can't drink milk, stop bugging me!
My hair getting it my nose and eyes and mouth when I'm trying to sleep. No, I still will not get a haircut.
Cheeto hands!

Drama.
Cigarette smoking (and how most every decently good looking girl I see does it)
Closed Minded people who insist their view is superior to yours.
Overly 'Emo' people who just want attention.
Religious "Fanatics"
I think I've crossed over from "Pet Peeves" into "Things I hate". I think they are two slightly different categories... Eh, I can only really think of pet peeves when they happen and I notice them..
Oh, like right now... How about... "Planning to do something fun outside for the first time in weeks and a thunderstorm happening that day and ONLY that day.. not once, but TWICE!"

At my last job, nearly every day that I was supposed to work, it rained or snowed. And I was outside a lot of the time. I think the weather man has something against me.JTigerclaw wrote:Oh, like right now... How about... people in general.
I'd go into detail, but ti would be easier just to list what doesn't annoy me about the great unwashed masses.
regimented food service times at the school. I pay for three meals, but frequently only eat 2 because of their mediocre times of open-ness.

"Pet" Peeve: Unleashed dogs in parks and other public places, excluding dog parks and other places where off-leash is legal, of course.
Typical scenario: I'm out for a walk with the family, including my dog who is, as per local law and common sense, on a leash. Up ahead, I see Idiot Dog Owner (IDO) and his dog Fido. Fido is off leash and he immediately comes tearing over to me and my family.
Assuming IDO even acknowledges the situation, he will yell cheerfully, "Oh, don't worry, Fido is friendly."
Fido then proceeds to either (or both): knock down my small child and leave claw marks all over her; or start a fight with my leashed dog.
IDO, assuming he even notices the fracas, will then say, "Well, gosh, Fido's never don't that before." All the while casting suspicious looks at my child or dog, as though the victim is somehow responsible.
Alternate IDO comment, "Well Fido just wanted to say, 'Hi.'" Note to Idiot. Neither my dog, nor the rest of my family, is under any obligation to accepted your out-of-control dog's greeting with any enthusiasm. If you want your dog to meet my dog, leash your dog and ask permission first.
Otherwise, chat with my lawyer. Yes, I've had a few run-ins with the IDOs of the world lately. Getting mighty peeved with people's belief that their dogs are darling children in fur suits and everyone must love them.
