The literal image of shit having hit the fan is a perfect analogy for 8:1.

This is doing wonders for my self esteem.

Anyway.
yeahduff wrote:"The End of Things. Blazing trails in the genre of self-loathing anorexic furry erotica."
But since that's no fun....

End of Things. Hours are spent creating meticulously detailed drawings to effectively describe boring people not doing anything.

Ugly Girl. And you thought your adolescence was shrill, repetitive, and poorly drawn.

Out There. What happens when a loose ditz and an introverted eunic go on a roadtrip? Not much, apparently.
(Nice shot.)

Reasoned Cognition. A comic that teaches about science by a guy who should read a comic that teaches how to draw.

Now off to do some research.

Be in denial all you want, but I'm not done yet. It's a slow work day.

8:1 - Name drop a pretentious indie band and watch the rockist counterculturalists proclaim it as post-modern genius.

Role of the Die. It's not like every single other losers-at-rpg's you've ever seen. Really. I'm being serious guys, totally fresh and original. Nothing like it out there at all.

Xeno's Paradise. It'd be fine to use blobs as characters to make up for the inability to draw if the creator had come up with something to make up for the inability to write.

World of Fizz. Because we needed a furry Family Circus.

Civilization In My Fork. Self-insertion adventure that points out all the cliches and logic gaps right before tripping all over them.

End of Things. Proving once again that low readership and artistic validity don't necessarily go hand in hand.

Nicely done, yeahduff. And here I was expecting you to do nothing for two weeks and then post something like "Uh, sorry, guys, the insults will be posted soon and it's not because I'm lazy, it's totally the ComicGen server's fault. Meanwhile here's some guest insults."

And then another month would go by.

Aw, c'mon, man, at least your insult could have been original. Image

What's great about this is that my adolescence was shrill, repetitive and poorly drawn.

8:1. With randomly inserted inane characters, cliche and predictable character backstories, and unusual friendships you see coming from ten miles away, surely 8:1 takes some kind of depressed-indie cake.

You're lucky. My childhood was poorly-rendered CGI from the early 90's. All my friends and I were composed of blocks and rudimentary shapes. I lived in a giant cube.

Ahhh...sweet, sweet disdain...

8:1 Ratio of crappy indie comics to Questionable Content. Meet an example of the former

To be fair, if you had to be a character in 8:1, you'd be an emotional cripple too.
