OK, this thread is here for people to post their reactions to the comic, and to speculate on what happening, and what might happen in the future.
To kick it off, I think the "Mother" that gave them the droids is actually Deception from EOU. We know that he is a shapeshifter, and he is the only one of the Overlords that would do something that would cause Sylph to have that reaction.

The comic I think gives support to my idea that Deception is pretending to be Mother.
EOU droids first appear on the planet.
Other EOU droids attack the three godesses.
By the way, it was one of the Goddesses that broke into Dr. Catastrophe's office a while back. (The Volet side of it. For some reason, its not on the hub page.)

I don't think that it was really Mother that gave them the droids. I think that it was Deception, shapeshifted to appear to be Mother.

Hmm... its not easy to see through the veil woven here, but Deception playing Mother would answer a lot of questions...
Still, if the EO's ARE the ones behind this (somebody COULD have redirected their droids), Catastrophe could somehow have played in. After all, he has the interest in this world...

In the last panel, is he talking to Bass or the reader? Also, did he use the droid as a shield? If he did, that either means that Bass's buster is still relatively weak, even in the FMV mode, or that the droid has VERY good armor.
(Also, what is the the teddy bear thing's name? I don't recall seeing him before this arc, and his name isn't mentioned anywhere that I can find in recent comics)

I finally remembered where I had seen that guy before. He was the person that was in the tube. Still, I have to wonder where he got the droids from since, as far as I know, he has no connections to the EOU.
