Yearbooks were released today. Since I'm a senior I got to make a "senior page" (Dunno if they let you do that in other HUGE high schools...)

Anyway, I credited CG in it, but then the damn headmaster complained some of my goodbyes didn't have enough... SUBSTANCE, so from 2 sentences or so it was reduced to two letters in the honorable mentions box I included :(

(I downsized it considerably so its not an x-thousand pixel by y-thousand pixel image, you can still read the text though)

I did a little charity thing last weekend called "Book in a Day" where a group of people write, edit, illustrate, cover and bind a children's book in twelve hours after being given a randomised brief. Our brief involved an angel, an orang-outang, a scientific breakdown and a harbour (which we re-interpreted to be a space station). The embarrassing bad results get read, too. They go on the shelves of the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.

And I was the only one who could draw so I gots to do the cover.

Given I've never drawn an orang-outang before, let alone on in a space suit, I'm quite pleased with it. I seem to have forgotten his shoulders in the rush, however. Image

It appears to be missing a joint or one of them is too short.

so go help make it NOT dead! ;p
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die
