Long story. Long painful story.

He's all huff and puff. No teeth. The venom behind it surprised me is all.

Aeridus your story reminds me of when I met Tycho at blizzcon. The PA booth was located near the open bar and the custom keyboard booth. Tycho heckled that poor keyboard salesmen the whole damn night. The best part was he barely concealed the fact that he had been drinking.

I confess that I just checked the Sexy Losers webcomic and THERE'S A NEW STRIP UP!!! There hasn't been a new one since December 28, 2005! That's like a year and a half! Here's hoping the guy is back building, I love his work. And by that I mean I've fapped to it more times than my right hand wants to remember.

I confess that an inordinate amount (and I mean a ridiculously creepy large amount) of people complimented me on my shirt and general well-being last night, and all I could think was "how fucking bad must I look every other night?"

I left the bar with a brand new complex, HOORAY!
I shall keep myself in oysters for the rest of the week, thank you very much.

I confess that: oh, I masquerade as a girl online all the time. In fact, I've started to write up some guidelines for other people who want to do it. :3

(In fact, my "KittyBoyMuffin" persona is basically my "girl" persona, without boobs or a vagina. ^^)
A catboy is fine too. And I dancedancedance and I dancedancedance!

Actually I haven't done that in ages. I'm not entirely convinced people use chat rooms anymore.

Sigh. I feel old.

I have a sneaking suspicion that you've confessed this to us before KittyBoyMuffin :)

*gropes KBMuffin's not-quite-there girly-bits*

I confess that last night I felt extremely attracted to a much, much older man, and it was kind of weird.
I shall keep myself in oysters for the rest of the week, thank you very much.

I confess that I have no sympathy for one of my friends, a girl who was raped by her boyfriend during Frosh week.

She went out with him for three or four months, and all she did was complain. He physically abused her (punching, hitting, kicking), psychologically abused her (called her stupid, fat, ugly) and constantly lied to her. She complained about him all the time, her parents hated him, her friends hated him, but she wouldn't dump him. Then he raped her.

Every time we hung out and had a happy conversation, she would bring it up and introduce the awkward factor. She refused to go to the authorities about it. She wouldn't stop talking about him and how horrible he had been to her for the next handful of months. She kept bringing up how nice it would be if we all got together and beat him up. She even added him on MSN under a different name to talk to him about herself. I told her to forget him, and I think she just recently did (a year and a half later). I resent the fact that she used the experience to gain sympathy and pity from her friends, expecially me. My sympathy strings can only be pulled for so long.

I confess- and I also resent- the fact that this experience has left me more than a little uncaring towards people in presumably similar positions, who purposely put themselves or keep themselves in horrible conditions (i.e. abusive relationships) and then cry about it later.

I had a similar friend with the added bonus of an eating disorder.

I finally told her our friendship was over because I was tired of her shit and that she should get help for the various problems that she had. I wrote her a freaking letter.
all I got was a "thanks for the advice"

I had known this girl since 7th grade and been told many times that I was "her best female friend" and our 6 year "friendship" ended up being a waste for the most part.

And if I see her at some friendly gathering over the summer, I'll tell it to her face.

I confess that I understand that sentiment, but in a way that you'd probably never imagine.

Sometime, when I have more energy, I might tell y'all about my ex-roommate. As it is I need a nap right now. If someone reminds me, I'll be happy to share the story later on today or tomorrow though ^_^

At DragonCon most of the media guests like to hit the various room parties. I can tell you that Gigi Edgley is one hell of a drinker as is Robert O'Reilly. Do not challenge GiGi unless you are sure of your skill. I watched her drink many larger men under the table.

I've seen Jewel Staite at the beginnings of an evening of drinking as well.
