...that's a bit high on the Celsius end, actually. more like low 30's. which is a normal southern ontario summer's day. with humidity. oh gods, the humidity.Reesa-chan wrote:Wouldn't the fur make it awfully uncomfortable in 95 degree weather though? (53 for all you people who use Celsius)

I don't wanna' hear about humidity unless you've worked out in the yard for four hours in 102F weather at 98% humidity. New Orleans summers FTW.sexy_fork wrote:...that's a bit high on the Celsius end, actually. more like low 30's. which is a normal southern ontario summer's day. with humidity. oh gods, the humidity.
And while I'm here, I confess that I damned well intend to see Reesa alive, well and happy a year from now, five years from now, ten and counting...

I've just been corrected. I should've taken off 32 before multiplying. That would make it (95-32)(5/9) = 35 degrees.Reesa-chan wrote:It's pretty high on the Fahrenheit end, too, and unless my math is wrong...(95 x 5/9) 95 degrees Fahrenheit = 52.777777777777 and so on and so forth degrees Celsius.
And while I won't say anything about humidity, I'd say camp counseling and chasing after kids all day long day after day at 110 degrees with no AC at all, even when trying to sleep (which is damn near impossible at those temperatures, especially when in a room with several other people so you have to keep your clothes ON) and having no appetite for much of anything so you're not taking in enough calories to replace those you're burning is pretty bad...which would be part of why I'm NOT camp counseling this summer.

And yet you complain about our AC and wander around like you're trekking the frozen wastes....

Oh sweet merciful GODS yes. I sweat like a pig in 90 degrees, standing still. I sweat in 80 degrees unless I remain completely motionless, and even then I feel hot. I sweat in 70 degrees with high humidity if I'm walking around in the afternoon, when the sun has gone down.Reesa-chan wrote:Wouldn't the fur make it awfully uncomfortable in 95 degree weather though? Suffice it to say, I avoid anything over 100 like my life depends on it.
On the plus side, using it to my advantage, I'm like a life-sized warm cuddly teddy bear.

I remember my first death threat for claiming the person I handed off my larp to was a worse leader than Bush.RedMage007 wrote:New confession!
I confess I found an e-mail box filled with death threats this morning.
This makes me very unhappy.
I saw nothing in your posts that warranted that kind of response though.

I confess that I once emailed the Penny Arcade folks about the *real* Tycho's lack of hair comapred the webcomic Tycho's abundance of hair. I still have no clue why I did so.
