Sailor Lycanthrope, huh?

Post by Guildenstern »

... we all know she's going to be dead in 5 panels, right? :P

Oh, hey, that reminds me, I've got a riddle for you all!

Q. What is the natural state of a Strange Daze werewolf? Canine form? Human form? Or something inbetween?
A. None! The natural state of a Strange Daze werewolf is dead!

Ha! I crack me up! And by 'crack me up', I mean 'hope you come back soon, Matt!'

Huh? New image?
...
Wha? Haha!
What the heck is that?

That was more or less my reaction. Sailor Werewolf is certainly an interesting picture. But, as usual, I wonder what you were thinking to trigger this image, and what it says to you. I think everything from Project A-ko to valley girls gone occultly wrong. Friends? Master/Servant? Sentient?

Regardless, a nice Halloween treat, thanks Matt!

Yeah; my final exam was on Thursday, so I am officially finished with school for this semester. Not a bad course, all things considered. A lot of the material covered I knew just by working in a development environment, but it still had some good ideas I think I can apply to my job. Plus, it helped get me motivated towards continuing my education.

I haven't worked on the comic much, just drawing and jotting down ideas. I think I'm about ready to start up again. 2007 is looking to be a good year ...

Anyway, we'll see. :)

Time for the monthly check-in!

Still plotting, scheming? Still busying your hands and mind to threads and peoples beyond our ken? Yes, yes, good good? Hm?

Ack, sorry! Not much to report: a couple character sketches, and continued practicing. Still haven't been able to put together any strips. Having some trouble accessing the site, I might need to get some help with that from the comic genesis tech folks.

Otherwise, not much to say for myself right now.

No worries! You still replied in under... *checks stopwatch* two weeks! Considering how it's been a month since the last post anyway, I'd call that pretty good speed!

More sketches and practicing, eh? Excellent! Upon such things are greatness built!

No, seriously, it's all sketches and practicing. The foundations of the pyramids, the Empire State Building, and a number of royal palaces are nothing but the the rough sketches of generations of art students. Really.

At any rate, keep at it, o ye weaver of storylines and insanities! We await your return with all the patience of the very stones of the earth!

Oh, hey, speaking of sketches and what not, I've got some I'd like to send your way. What's your email again? @cybermesa? @yahoo? Let me know, and I'll shoot the stuff off to you.

Pretty much. This year's course is EE 460, Space System Mission Design and Analysis. Interesting, but more work intensive compared to last year. On top of that, I'm having issues with accessing and uploading to the site (I think I need to get my password reset and/or try some different ftp software).

On the plus side, I'm still drawing, and when I'm not otherwise occupied my mind tends towards trying to come up with story ideas. So, there's that at least.

In other news, I can't stop watching this:

(Not exactly NSFW, but still kinda racy. Fans of the Gold Digger comic should recognize the art and characters)

As I understand it, it's a kids show from Iceland called Lazytown.

Bores into the brain, don't it? :D

Yeah, this thread seems as good as any. Final exam and group presentation is on Wednesday, and we've just about wrapped up the two work projects that I've been tasked with for the last year. After that, I'll see about getting my comic back up to a reasonable priority in my life.
