Gelatinus cubes...

Post by Narf the Mouse »

Are an organic, ravenous roadblock that fits a standard ten-foot by ten-foot room.

Or at least, that's my understanding. Granted, I only started RP'ing about three years ago.

From a game mechanics perspective, they make perfect sense. From a biological perspective, they are completly unsuportable (Literally). But when has that stopped the Monster Manual writers?

Also, if they were ever introduced into WoW, you'd just know they'd be "stackable".

"Stackable"? *groans as he imagines someone playing Tetris with such things*
Simple Simon met a pieman going to the fair;
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Let me taste your ware."
Said the pieman to Simple Simon "Show me first your penny."
Said Simple Simon to the pieman "Sir, I have not any!"

Half-elves and golems and nymphs, oh my!

I like Abbie's attack on the cube. *Poke!* LOL! Very effective, no doubt. ^,^

Hee.
Reminds me of an Order of the Stick filler comic involving a G-Cube.

G-cube?? That sounds so very, very wrong.

"Hey baby, do you wanna see my G-cube?" *shudder*

Granted, if you put a "Hey baby, do you want to see my..." in front of pretty much any word, it sounds wrong. ;)

Wow! I've never seen a GelCube that wasn't completely filling a corridor. Neat.

Not that you get flanking bonuses or anything on it but it's nice to have somehwere to run.

The only cubs that weren filling up a corridor were at the bottom of pit traps.
