Pleasantly buzzed, had a soothing roll-up cig, and about to sit down to work.

I'm beginning to get vaguely decent at playing tenor saxophone.
Also I actually managed to upload my comic to the FTP in time. Woo 'n such.

The hat I'm knitting for Dawg is turning out awesome
. I'm still worried it won't fit his head, but yarn stretches. It's gonna kill me that I can't take pictures or else it'll ruin the surprise.

A couple of our friends came up tonight!
(A REALLY good thing, because at work while ago, someone asked me, "So is Jim working today?" and I said, "Yeah, I have to go pick him up at 7:30." At that moment I looked at my watch and saw that it was 7:25. And I was nowhere NEAR done at work...but I digress....they stopped by Jim's theatre and picked him up!)

Since we're talking about knitting; I'm happy that someone sent me some yarn! It's lion brand ribbon yarn, of the color "copper penny" and it's the prettiest yarn EVER!!! I'm gonna get started knitting a scarf right away!

Listening to Belle and Sebastian while typing an essay, with my favourite person a few feet away snoring a little. Makes me happy, anyway

I found out today that I have a condition called "Dependent Edema", which means that my veins are having a hard time returning fluid back to my heart so liquid escapes and pools into my calves, feet and ankles. Sound pretty bad..but the reason I say this is good is because now that it's diagnosed, I can start to take care of it properly.
Doctor said I should cut out all salt and start taking diuretics. In a few weeks it should improve and I can get back to walking a lot. YAY!

I got called eccentric today, and that's what I've always wanted to be.
I've started being satisfied with my artwork.
I'm almost always very happy in general.
My hat collection is coming along nicely.

I think I'm starting to get a hang of this "foreshortening" thing. If only that applied to wrinkles in clothing... Oh wait. Happy thread. Yay!
