CG Votes 2007, Recount thread. [The Neko wins]

Postby CGVoteBox on Thu Mar 15, 2007 4:32 am

Due to vote stuffing of somewhere between 7 and 10 votes, we need to verify votes:
Neko for The Replacement Party 31% [ 31 ]
Mr. Bob for the current regime 34% [ 33 ]
Jim North for AnarchySpace 8% [ 8 ]
K-Dawg for PPP 4% [ 4 ]
Nanda for DVFN 15% [ 15 ]
SergeXIII for Free Soil 0% [ 0 ]
Stinkywigfiddle 2% [ 2 ]
OBS for the Fascist Party 1% [ 1 ]
Aaron of Late to Come Party [ 0 ]
Mixed Myth for M-party 3% [ 3 ]
Total 97.

Since the vote stuffing would only affect the outcome of the_neko,Mr.Bob and maybe Nanda, we are going to have a runoff between. Here is how:
Private Message CGVoteBox
Put who you are voting for in the subject line. In this case it's:
The Neko
Mr.Bob
Nanda

In the message body type:
Vote

Then hit send, anything else in the subject line will disqualify the vote.
In addition, there will be no 'current results' of the poll, so stuffing votes just to tie it again will be useless. If someone votes who is not a current GD/OT regular I'll track those separately. The vote will end when all the regular posters who voted in this poll vote.

Then REPLY to this thread saying you voted.

Voted.. Just to know, if someone missed out or added in a space or a fullstop to a candidate name, would the script pick it up? Like if someone put 'theneko' or 'MrBob'.

Well there are ways to make the script take this into account, but for now I'll just manually count it.

On some worlds, what with gnomes and elves and trolls and all, racism is not a problem. White and Black live together in harmony and gang up on green.
