The Games people play...

Post by Turnsky »

So inbetween making webcomics, what games do you folks play in your spare time?

I'm currently playing world of warcraft with a little replay of Lost Planet now and again.

I'm not much of a player. I play P&Cers and sometimes arcade adventures. Recently I've been replaying lots of Lucas Arts old games because I can run them on my pocket PC and play in a bus. Don't care much how old the game is, as long as it's at least VGA.
For some reason, the only other kind of games I play are car races. I'm guessing because ther're not hard to get into so they're good for relaxation, and I don't get sucked into them too much.
In general I always choose to draw or watch a film rather, I have a bunch of games standing on my shelf that I never even put into the cd drive.

Nothing right now. Mainly older games, though. Master of Orion 2, Star Control 2, Fallout and Age of Empires 2 are favourites.

I'm still fully immersed in Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and I like to make movies with The Movies sometimes.

This webcomic, seen here is hosted on the free web host Comic Genesis which pretty much proves its not popular.

I mostly play the DS these days...most recent game I bought was Hotel Dusk Room 215 which was pretty good stuff (particularly if you like adventure games).

Ikaruga. Though now that it's warming up, I'll be playing "run around the block." And once I can finaly find a Wii, I'll be playing Twilight Princess again, but inverted.

Sonic Riders. My son bought it with his birthday money, even though we warned him that it looked stupid and he probably wouldn't like it, and now we're all hopelessly addicted.

At the moment I swear by Hearts of Iron 2.

But tuesday evenings are devoted to a Battlefield 1942 mod called Silent Heroes.

To answer the question, lately I've been playing some Rise of Nations and thinking about finishing Neverwinter Nights 2

Have Guild Wars, but haven't played it in a few months. Finished Oblivion, don't feel like playing it more. Tried NWN2, felt it was like having bamboo shards shoved into me, so I deleted it.

Not playing very much right now at all, and I wish I could find something. Waiting for Spore. Fooling around with Magic cards. Thinking of restarting my City of Heroes account, but I don't think I have enough free time to get back into that...

I don't have a system while I'm in the UK, and I haven't been playing any classics either. Hmm. I should look back at an old one replay that.
