TMBG - St. Louis - Saturday
Extremely short notice, I know, but this Saturday They Might Be Giants will be putting on a free concert in St. Louis.
I'm going to have to ask off work that day, but Kat and I are most certainly going. Any fellow Missourians up to joining us?

Hells yah, it woulda . . . and the weather woulda probably been a lot more favorable, too. Ah, well.
Anywho, I managed to do a little work schedule shuffling, so we'll be heading almost straight up there after I get off work at five tomorrow. We spend the night, tool around for most of the next day, head to the concert at about six, TMBG it up 'til our brains fall out, then turn back towards home at around eight.
Sound good?

We're back and the Norths have head out back home to Branson.
The concert freaking rawked! You know you're a dedicated fan when you show up in 25F (before wind chill) weather. TMBG also played for nearly an extra hour.
Pictures later. Right now we're defrosting.
Edit: A couple of the pictures from the outing at the local mall.

Just got home! It was super awesome fun, and I want to thank the good Kolters for having us over for the night and helping us get to the concert and overall just being swell people.
We'll be posting up the pictures we got, too, just as soon as we thaw out and get some sleep. ;P

Ditto on what Jim said, that was indeed awesome! And we never would've found the place without the Kolters, so three cheers for them! Even though they do have some sort of creature living in their loft...

Before the concert we went to the Mills mall. It has all sorts of neat decorations, like this huge light:

We went to the toy stores, where Jim and Kolter fought out the 2.0 vs 3.5 question once and for all:

And then played frisbee in the middle of the mall hallway:

Almost hitting some innocent passersby in the process:

Jim drank a bottle of something that he found lying on one of the benches. It had some strange effects:

And we all got attacked by a vicious spider:

Kolter even got attacked by a worm. (We think it found him to sexy to resist):

Since it was so cold, we didn't take too many pictures of the concert. We only got this one:

You can't see it in this, but the performance was on the rolling rock stage.
They gave us beads!
