It is. It was made for Florida.
*looks at map* hmm, seems a bit too flaccid to have use for a condom....

Congratulations! :D

Even though Jim and I've been together for 8 years we've only had one actual sorta romantic Valentines Day. Today wasn't looking like it would be one, since Jim has to work tonight, and we were completely broke until his payday tomorrow...but my mom gave me a Valentines Day card yesterday with $20 in it, so Jim and I might actually be going out to dinner after he gets home!

We we're gonna do anything today either. Then our state refund hit the account. Woot! Now we're probably gonna do dinner and a movie.

Oh and since Ryan's on his way home and not reading this. I got him a cute card and a bar-b-que kit box with a cookbook and an apron that says "Who's Your Daddy!". I will require him to wear it at the Cookout wile kissing Vort ;)

Actually, St. Valentine's Day - like the vast majority of our modern holidays - was created by Christians in order to cover up a pagan holiday . . . in this case, the aforementioned Lupercalia AKA Roman Fuck Day. It wasn't until much much later that it - like the vast majority of our modern holidays - got preempted by the bloodsucking corporate types.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

Denial is not falsification. You can't avoid a fact just because you don't like it.
"Data" is not the plural of "anecdote"

I woke up at five o'clock this morning to go to surgery to remove a pilonidal cyst on my very lower back, if you catch my drift.

That means I'll be in bed on my stomach for a couple of uncomfortable days, followed by 5 to seven weeks of recovery until the wound heals naturally.

And I have no girlfriend.

And I still manage to be less bitter than most of you.

Happy Valentine's Day.
I set my ATM card's number to "0001" because I'm number one!

I totally agree.

Never mind the fact I don't have a S.O. at the moment.

Being single is cool. I'm cool with it, anyway. :P

Which they sent to all the seniors.

Dude! I got that too! We can be pilonidal sinus buddies! That surgery isn't fun, I know very well. Been under the knife, what, 5 times now? Most painful and embarrassing illness EVAR. Hope that heals well for ya, cause mine was a complete disaster. And have something to bite on when they pack the wound. Trust me.

Fellow freaks were asked of to do something for other members of the board. It didn't matter if it came from their comic or not, it was the thought that counted.

the second one (No. 19) is for Cope. Because I did 7 of my characters and randomly did one for another freak.

I've been trying out texturing recently. And there's been a slight change in character form, too. With that, I bring you the Valentine's Day 2007 special!

BTW, I feel the same way as Stefan does about the silly "holiday". Were it not for the candy, it'd be a total loss.

Annoying thing about Valentines day is that it makes you guilty if you're not caring about it, thus forces you to bye stuff. I don't like it, I simply can't get over the fact that it's a strategy to get money out of our pockets, and using intimate things like love for that purpose makes it even worse. Money is never much of an issue for me, but I don't like the feeling that I'm being cheated. Important days when I think about the person I love is her birthday, anniversary of our relationship, and many other days when we're not in situation to see each other.
Luckily she's not demanding, not a kind of person who'd feel neglected if I forgot about Valentines day. Seems like the best present for her right now is leaving her alone, being that she has an exam the day after tomorrow.
