strokes of inky muse blooming

And back for round _4_ of bad Scrubbo Poetry......My attempt at a Word Sonnet, inspired by Damonk himself. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> He's quite good!Two poems. I like the first one, but I'm not convinced it follows Word Sonnet rules quite correctly. But then, what do I know. I did the second one just using the rubber grasping asphalt and knees bit because that's what I like the most and tried to get a sentence into the poem. The first one is a first hand perspective, the second is an observers perspective.Wind
screaming
by,
rubber
grasping
asphalt,
pushing
inside,
pulling
alongside,
passing,
knee
touching
ground.Alternative version :Rubber

Woohoo! Attempts at Word Sonnets!Everyone should try their hand at it ~~ it's real simple!Just write a 14-word poem, with one line per word! Poof! Instant word sonnet! It offers you the concision of a haiku with the flexibility of 14 words as opposed to 17 syllables!Word sonnets are one of my personal favorite styles out there at the moment (the form is still very new and unexplored, even!)...G'wan, folks!
