Didn't Shakespeare invent the phrase dead as a doornail? I still don't get it. What's a doornail and why is it so extra-specially dead?

And yeah, Hitler's moustache was badass. Hitler was badass too. He just was a little too hard on the gays and the jewish people, although he was seriously a awesome politician, managing to turn the whole country of german into a jew-hating killer machine.
