Well, a lot of comics from Comic Genesis (or were on CG last year) did get nominations, such as Komiyan's Darken, K-Dawg's Angry D. Monkey, and McDuffies' Legostar Galactica. To that, I say congratulations, and I hope for a great turnout for winning awards in the CG Community.
McDuffies doesn't do Legostar Galactica, I do. I know it's a little hard to make that connection, what with my forum name and my comic name having nothing to do with each other, but really.

Yeah... there's not much excuse for confusing the comics of people whose comics are their usernames...

That said, I'm sure someone could put the phrase "legostargalatica's McDuffies" into context.

Yeah, I made a little slip up. I thought it was one of those recently changed names, and then there's the fact that both authors are of Eastern European descent (one lives in the USA, the other is still in Serbia).

That's sort of a dangerous attitude to live by. I mean, we're both in Florida, and the last thing you want is for people to think that you're the one responsible for my abhorrent and poorly-written blemishes upon humanity.

Congrats to the noms!

Seems I'm going to have to start reading "Out There". Can't log onto these boards without news that it's been mentioned somewhere, or nominated for something.

But can I still go to podium and receive an award? :(

And I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you pesky, meddling kids....

only if it's the award for best impersonation of a photocomic artist.

Just claim it's satire. That lets you get away with anything.

I know it saved my life. At first I thought those coded messages that warned about government surveillance and addressed specifically to me were just your idea of a joke. Of course, now--after the incident with the hobo--I know better.

And congratulations. Unlike, say, the Academy Awards in any given year, all the nominees deserve to be on the list. :)

I was SURE that everyone who lives in Florida writes webcomics that are trippy, fun, and bizarre.

Well now I just don't know WHAT to believe. :(

I know! Sometimes I get suspicious that the manatees are really alien invaders from a distant galaxy that are shooting psychic waves at us to make us crazy.
