Many many apologies, Sir Cortland. I really feel bad about any inconvenience this places on you or the person taking my place, but . . . well, I've been wrestling for the past month with the idea of stopping production of RotD entirely and I've only just made my decision. There's little reason to advertise for a comic that I'll sadly no longer be making.
Once again, I'm extremely sorry about this.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.

Although I disagree about the stopping of RotD, I'm very glad Jim posted this, because now I don't have to feel so guilty about being the one who posted it in the first place!
I should be ready by the 31st. I will be doing most of the artwork this weekend. It's just been a rough couple weeks. Of course, I should have started weeks earlier.
But, there will be a Reasoned Cognition for the FCBD, I guarantee.

We had some success so far with the Keenspot newsbox. Aside from the windfall of web traffic you all may have experienced, we managed to sell one quarter-page ad and one full-page ad yesterday. We still have lots more space to sell off, though, so we may need to consider other options for getting the word out about the book and the space therein.
And no hard feelings, Jim. I will find a someone to fill in for you. You will be missed, however. In the meantime, I think Mon Ami's comic would make a fine addition to the book. I've really liked her grayscale artwork for a while now, and if she can make up a page in time, I say she's in.
What does everybody else think?

I was to the understanding all the artists got a couple copies for themselves.
What dimensions in pixels do you want, Corty?
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

that'd be so cool. it's one thing seeing it on the screen, it's another to hold it in your hands.

Almost done inking it, Cort. I'd be done now, but due to a serious medical thing, it won't be done tonight. Tomorrow, maybe!

I just got payment for a 1/4 page ad, with ad details to follow.
... am I getting the details of the ads now too? I thought you were getting those. And did you know the ad was coming in, or should I be telling you that?

as with mine, lighting's progressing... slowly. but once i'm done with that, it's smooth sailing with text, then the rest of the formatting..
oh, and cort, i updated the size of my entry so it'll fit nicely within the bleed area with space to spare.

I knew about the ad, Ryan, but the person who bought it may not have given me all the details. If you could forward me the information from her payment, that would be great. Also, we have sold a full-page ad, and that money should be coming in soon as well, with details to follow.
