well, i have no idea if they exist as defined by the right wing. However, I have taken the word and use it where I feel it is apropriate--women who beleive that they are inherently better than men or that they deserve more rights than men.

these people do exist, though mayhap not in such large numbers as you may have been led to beleive.
but do they really exist? there is still a minority of women, not feminists, who have always believed women deserve to be in charge because they are morally superior, but these are not the women people think of when they think of "feminazi", or unfortunatly, feminism. feminism has become synonomous with feminazi, which to everyone I've met refers to bike dykes, a small group of lesbians who enjoy scaring the ever living daylights out of people by wearing leather and acting tough. but I have yet to meet a bike dyke who honestly believes women are superior to men (although they like to joke about it).

as I mentioned, there still is a minority who think women are more sensitive caring loving yadda yadda, but usually these women are not feminists- in fact, many are religious conservatives who believe women belong in the home!

but I'm sidetracking. maybe we can start a thread in off-topic?

The afore mentioned article wrote:Members of the FAL wore scissors around their necks, as members of the audience lightheartedly sang a song about castration.
That actually reminds me of someone I know. She'd have loved that.* XD

Anyway 'though I wish I could link to this radio program I heard once (there's an archive of it online but I don't remember the date) where this person calling themselves a feminist actually said, seemingly in all seriousness, that men shouldn't be allowed to participate in government because their hormones make them too emotionally unstable. I think I may have actually shouted "can't you see the irony?" at my radio.

* Don't get me wrong: nice girl, I love her like the sister I never had--if she needed a kidney she wouldn't even have to ask--but she finds the idea castration-by-scissors to be extremely funny for some reason.

Feminist, feminist? Hm.

LWK sort of has a streak of female characters who succesfully dominate male characters in very patriarchal enviroment and try to escape from female roles in such society. But it's not like I've been trying to do something consciously or give some message or somefin.
Kill'er now is not... in fact, it's sort of exploitative...
