I went to the Normandy beaches today. The pics are all from Omaha, though I also saw Utah, and Sword. I've selected a few pictures to show off.
First, I tresspassed on government property to get this shot from inside a bunker

This is the actual beach

The memorial on the beach

And the American cemetary


I have plenty more pics, but I'll just spam up the whole thing. I gotta say teh beaches actually made me kinda sick. The locals totally sold out. Seriously, every other shop was Omaha something or other. Hell they had "D-Day House Bar And Hotel"... maybe its just be but it seems... wrong...[/img]
