My two coloring techniques?

Can you guys check out my two coloring dealies. I have cel shade and a fuzzy shade...er...thing. Which is better? Oh, and ignore the fourth panel of the first comic, it's indelibly messed up.
Any tips, comments, ect? I need help, I just started this coloring stuff.

Your cell shading looks much cleaner. You could stand to be a little bolder with it, but it's much more appealing than the fuzzy version.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

The guy's clothes are too primary. Use colors more in this range:

I generally use really desaturated colors in my comic.
note: any l337 used in the previous post was used ony to avoid the poster's Cybersitter. Image

But you also heavily relying on white for highlights and black for shades instead of mixing your own colors. :/ colors do not work this way in real life.

What, me?

No I dont. For shadows, I use a really dark blue, and for highlights on clothing, I use a really light yellow. For hair, I use the brightest shade of whatever color the character's hair is. (In the main one's case, cyan)

I put them on a transparent layer above the color.

Thanks for the help, guys. I'll stick with the cell-shading, I guess. And I noticed the too-dark clothes, So I'll fix that when I try it again. Thank you guys, love the help.
