Crocodile Mile!

Crocodile Mile...that was one of those Slip N Slide wannabes. Anyone remember those? I always thought that was the dumbest idea to go slam yourself down a wet strip of yellow plastic on the ground. Oh well.<P>So what does that have to do with this post? Well, not much really, only that The Crocodile Hunter was in today's strip. Got some questions and comments for you, Yamcha, since I know you like feedback and all.<P>I saw the sketches you did before you scanned them, and I remembered that in those, we were holding video game controllers. Why did you cut them off in the panels of the final strip draft? It makes it a little harder to tell that we are playing video games.<P>Also, I noticed that I have the same thing on my hat in all three panels of the strip (which is what?). What happened there? I do like my green shirt, though. I like green. Green is my favorite color. Green.<P>Now if I met the Crocodile Hunter guy in real life, I'd have to get his autograph for my little brother Jeff, who loves to watch that show and BattleBots. And cartoons of course. You know, Yamcha, one of these days you'll have to draw my little brother Jeff into the strip. It's easy to make comic gags when you have a kid character in the strip. You can draw him like Calvin (Calvin and Hobbes) cuz I bet that's what he'd look like in cartoon form.<P>I'll have to get Jeff to post something on this or the other message board, Yamcha. He hasn't talked to you in a while and he's been wanting to tell you and Mutt about his new puppy and how he thinks my new games Silhouette Mirage and Mega Man X5 are so cool. And I bet he'd like today's strip, too.<P>Well, I'm done so bye.<P>--Klonoa

Okay, as you are aware (being as you saw the sketches) I was trying a big expirament with this strip. Mainly each panel was drawn a page in size and shrunk (usually my panels are drawn at half a page). The problem that came up in the final draft was that I had major troubles shrinking the page size panels to fit into the strips actual panels. That's why the controllers got cut off. I'm resorting back to my original drawing size from now on. As for the hat, to make each panel look consistant, I traced Robbie and Cary in each panel with minor changes. Unfortunately I didn't realize I traced the same symbol on Cary's hat until I finished inking it (which by the way, the symbol is a misdrawn version of the symbol on Voltron's chest). So I screwed up there. As for the shirt, that was a random thing I changed. I've been playing with the character designs a bit lately (I doubt anyone noticed, but Robbie's hair is actually drawn slightly differant). There, how's that. Take off every 'zig'.<P>------------------
