The new Sam and Max is goooooood. It's even managed to be 3D without losing that good old 2D adventure vibe (Monkey Island 4 I'm looking at you, you bastard!)

I need to get back in to Grim Fandango.... last adventure game I finished was the original Sam and Max; it is so good that I'm just afraid of a letdown.

I reckon the only one from that era that might let you down would be "Full Throttle." That was the weakest of the LucasGames from that period... For me anyways.

I've got all of the LG adventure games (from Indiana Jones up to the latest Monkey Island) tucked away somewhere on my hard-drive. I'll stick up a torrent if you want them?

That, my friends, is a tentacle anemone made of flexible rubber and suppored by wires(like the flexi-figure toys you used to get as a kit that you could wrap thier arms and legs around things).

It can be used to create.... unique dioramas:

He actually sells them (about 12,000yen, or close to 100 dollars) and it looks like so much fun to have.

Note that he also has the cutest little octopus guys for sale too:

(Ps that's pushing 30cm, which is an armspan of right near a 12 inches imperial).

The dolls, near as I can figure, are composed of the same material, I'm just not sure if you can order them from the site or if he gets them from somewhere else.

And Grim Fandango... Such an overtly cool damned name for something... No offence to anyonewho likes it, but it annoys me that such a cool name got attached to a game with such spetacularly crappy art that I can't even hold in my head the idea of thinking about playing it.

Should be like a really, really killer 40's detective movie or something...
