Here's the evolution of my comic characters over a period of a year and some change...

Image

Pretty drastic changes in only a year span. I thought I was so cool a year ago , but boy did I learn... :P

Uh, I guess that depends on what you compare it to... But yeah, I guess it does have a bit of a reputation. Where are you from?

I just realized that Candi's midriff has gotten smaller and smaller over the years. XD

Yeah, it has been noticed that Candy's pants go higher and higher in years last time Star posted that image.

Oh damn. I draw now like Humbug drew in 1999! :(

Damn it, I was hoping that Humbug is one of those exceptionally talented people who can learn to draw from scratch in a year or two without much effort. Knowing that she slaved to learn to draw like that too, makes me feel more guilty for not practising.

Unfortunately no, he's a real recent character. ^^"
Yea, I already could draw the human figure back in my school years, it just took me years to polish the anatomy up. >_>

I think that's a problem that all of us face. But yes, it would have been nice if we saw muscles' pics.

This is a bit of my evolution. Not much since I've only just begun...but still significant.

The inclusion of Peacekeepers is just to show the progression of the character's design. As Peacekeepers is a fairly different style from Digital War it isn't really an evolution of the style, it's a completely new one. I consider the 2005 version to be the final endpoint for the style I used for Digital War. If I ever picked it up again, I would keep it at that level.

2004 version looks cool tho, excellent for a gag strip. The latest looks too serious :P I'll read up and figure out what genre you're in
