i'm sorry, but while dicaprio can act well, he's shown this ability, he's not cute, he's greasy. I'll agree with Depp though.

Go see The Departed. DiCaprio proved himself otherwise in that movie, and it is fucking fantastic. There's a scene early in the film that can prove otherwise, when he gets a broken arm.

Depp is excellent actor. However, in "What's eating Gilbert Grape", Di Caprio plays a supporting role to him, and nearly steals the spotlights from him.

I think Depp is an excellent actor, but he is slowly but surely starting to become typecast as the 'bizarre' character in a variety of movies.
He should really start to grab some different roles again so he doesn't get stuck.
