As to what's going on, it looks like Will is no longer in his saddle. and that Will's horse is leading to camp.
As to what happened to Will... Well, there is a reason why he picked that particular armor.

Nope, sorry. Toma usually keeps quiet and listens, if there isn't anything in dire need of a level head and a monologue. Call it a professional quirk, if you can really call gambler a profession.

'Tis an unfortunate fact of no-DM roleplaying. Most people are reluctant to force anything that would have a serious impact on other people's characters, so the whole thing just grinds to a halt after awhile.
