So, hypothetically, were I to gain a reputation similar to that of Vorticus and subsequently attend the cookout, the possibility stands that I might get thrown in said pool?

You have to not like getting thrown into a pool of girls. After all, we don't give this stuff out for free or out of the goodness of our hearts. Fundamentally we are all evil people who want to do the opposite of what anyone else wants.
