Thanks a lot, I really do appreciate the complimentary words.

That being said, I've never been very good with receiving compliments. For some reason, I always feel kind of stupid when someone compliments me, like I'm in third grade and I did good on the spelling test. I don't know why I feel like this, I'm sure most people feel genuine gratitude and are immediately able to give an appropriate response. Me, I feel the gratitude, but my brain immediately starts throwing out paranoid scenarios: am I being complimented because they want something? Is it a big put-on because they really think I suck? Is there a camera somewhere that I'm just not seeing?

Anyway, I'm clearly not normal, so if we can all just accept that (a big if, no doubt), we'll all be the better for it. It is gratifying to know that somebody out there reads this strip and actually derives some sort of positive reaction from it, and I very much appreciate the fact that anyone would actually take the time to write and say so. I'm just a little tongue-tied in terms of how I should respond.

So, failing any grasp of socially acceptable protocol, I'll again just say "thanks," and hope that it doesn't sound like an automated response. This has not been a recording.

Sure you can, if you ask the right person.*

Ooh, addicting and a visually appealing style.
If you keep the update rate and storyline pace and wittyness up,
add me to the readers.

Good luck with it!
