Actually, that sounds like it takes a lot of skill.

My schedule. The jist of it is as follows:
MW: Class from 8:30-2, no breaks. Marching band from 3:30-6:15
T: Class from 8:30-11:30, work from 1-6 or 7
Th: "" , class from 12:30-1:30, work from 3-6 or 7
F: Class from 8:30-9:30, then 10:30-2, band from 3:30-6:15
Working unpredictably on weekends.

WTF.

but it was fun, wasn't it? I did that when I had to perform three times....it was sports day actually...and I had to do this...skipping rope competition thing =.='

oh yeah, it does. i doubt my parents will let me out again until school starts. no, wait, until AFTER exams. that's 2 months i'll be confined in the house for!!! argh!!!

Having stupid judges at a band competition give a higher score to a band whose colorguard was counting out loud!!! Our band was awesome!! our band teach even said so, and he doesn't say that sort of thing often.

Our best show was the time that our drum major saluted early, while the pit was still setting up. We got docked a TON of points and got second or third. But it was a close second, and everyone knew we were the real winners.

Also, some judges are just partial toward certain schools. If you know of Logan, they are scored high partly because they are Logan. They'd probably win anyway, but it does add to it.
