Steam Crows is the name of my CGI comic.

I'm in the middle of "Issue #3", so there are 60+ pages out there to check out. At this point I think my body of work is sufficient to get a sense for my style, and if it's working or not. This is my first comic ever, so I hope I'm evolving and growing, but if you have specific points of things I could do better, either with writing or with layout, please let me know!
looking for constructive criticism!

Visually, I think its pretty well done. The speech bubbles don't intrude on the background or anything at all. I think you might pay attention to colors/time of day and such. For instance, the shooting in the first strip. Why daytime? Also, when the "Darkie" was leading the mean throught the tunnels there was enough light that looked like it they might've been outside.
Storyline, its sort of bumpy. The whole setting needs to be explained a little bit more. I've never read "alternate" history before, so that could be why I'm a little lost. I think the reader needs to understand mroe about the world. Right now, our only reference is 19th century England, but you obviously have a very different 19th century England. Writing something as simple as prolouge would help a lot with that.
I really liked your design of the vechilcles, clothes, and other such things. You have captured the feel of an era. It reminds me a little bit of arcanum.

The Comic
I think the comic is very well done. The CG artwork is phenomenal. I really admire it. I wonder if you went to school for this or are you one of those bright people who could dabble and figure it out. Either way, I enjoy it.

Well my jaw dropped after checking it out. Very nicely done. Mind you, that doesn't tell you anything constructive. About the only other cgi comic I can compare it to is Ask Dr Eldritch but that has a very "toy figure" look about it (and for all I know it's all photographed straight from toys).
One or two figures seem to be "stuck" in very similar poses everytime we see them - Merryweather in particular seems to have one arm kinked most of the time (compare http://eldritch48.comicgenesis.com/d/20060808.html with http://eldritch48.comicgenesis.com/d/20060811.html and it looks just a little unnatural, however the character may be more formal than some.
Other than that - I think it's fabulous!
