Still Webpage Uploading Issues
Still Webpage Uploading Issues
So I asked for help already once and someone kindly instructed me what to do. I put the file for the webpage in the /Workspace/webpages section of my FTP server, but it still isn't showing. I named the file 'Sedition.jpg', should I have named it something else, like how the comic pages are named by dates? Or do I need to do something else to upload the webpage? It isn't showing on the site 'sedition.comicgenesis.com', and I put the file in the appropriate section (at least as to what I was instructed) is there something else I'm doing wrong?

Um... jpg is not a text extension. Are you trying to upload a picture, not a webpage? Pictures go into your public_html/images folder. Then, you'd need to link it somewhere on the site manually, because there's no way your site would know where to put your image.
Although, if it's a comic page, you'd need to use the yyyymmdd.jpg format and put it into workspace/comics, then trigger a regular update.

I found the page at http://sedition.comicgenesis.com/Sedition.htm
A few things:
1) You are missing the "hosted on comicgenesis" bit at the bottom of the page. Please add it.
2) Capitalization is key. "Sedition.htm" isn't the same thing as "sedition.htm". Same thing with extensions: .htm isn't the same thing as .html .
3) Capitalization is also why your images on Sedition.htm are broken.
4) From the looks of it, I get the impression you want that "Sedition.htm" page to be your front page. If that's the case, that's not how you must proceed. To edit your front page, you have to edit indextemplate.html . To edit your archive pages, you have to edit dailytemplate.html . If that's not what you want to do, then disregard this last bit of advice.

Ok, now that I have gotten that together, I have a new index page, but I am still doing something wrong. How do I get my comics to run on that page? What am I coding wrong or missing? My comics still ony show up on the default plain page and they won't show up on my new indextemplate page.
