PatchworkEveryone's a hero in their own forums. And in their favorite forums. Alright, fine, maybe just in this forum. Shush.

Ecchestopia

I'd be comfortable with Spencer Ecches as my prime minister. He's up-front with his corruptability!

Ecches/Smith '08!

Think about it! "Costa Del Ecches. Spencerville. Marina Del Ecches. Philburgh--Philburgh?"

"Night-thade thaid. Thee hath her own little plath!"

"Philburgh?!"

"Ith a little bitty plath!"

"Philburgh!?!"

"Alright, I'll wipe it off, that'th all..."

(Name that Patchworkized movie reference!)

Thoughts on Ecches in '08? Contenders?

I'd vote for him. Y'know, if I was an American citizen and therefore able to vote for anyone in your country.

Any good British villains I could elect to run our country? I mean, apart from Tony Blair?

Curses, you've uncovered an upcoming storyline!

(No, not really - there are laws against supervillains or superheroes getting directly involved in politics.)

I'd vote Phil, though. He'd be a great mayor. Always pushed around by special interests. ;)

Awww, poor Phil. Actually, I can imagine Ecchs using Phil to get into power (or do the laws also prevent henchmen running for prez with 'unnamed' - read 'evil mastermind' - backers?)...

Unfortunately, yes, they do. Anyone who's registered with the Superhero League or the Supervillain Alliance is forbidden politics, and you have to be registered to be more than a mook.

That said, someone like Spygor could run for office. Time honoured tradition. ;)
