I can't explain it any better you just have to go to snakesonaplane.varitalk.com and have Samuel L Jackson intimidate your friends to go see Snakes on a Plane by calling them! TRY IT OUT!!! Only works once per number so make sure they are home or have their cell on!

Only drawback is that you may be signing up your target's phone number for telemarketing calls.

Drawback?! If this is the case I plan on inviting a lot of bad people to see Snakes on a Plane.

I suppose that's a possibility but this is the first time anyone has ever done this. I think that subsequent runs of this setup may indeed include more targeted advertising. But for now the gimick itself is enough, and damn funny to boot!

I don't see how this is the greatest thing. The whole viral marketing for this thing became "old meme" long ago.

I could give two sheeps and a fart about the movie but having my friends and family call me back saying How'd you do that? Is thanks enough and you can have alot of fun mixing it up! Especially putting their names in it if they match up

Not really. It was done for The Ring.

This isn't nearly as awesome as Arnold Schwarzenegger calling your house and telling you to vote Republican.

I think I cried a little inside.

the greatest thing ever was the time Ralph Klein (premier of Alberta) came to my house and gave me $400.

A friend of mine has a train that drives by her work every so often. It loves to blair it's horn for no reason, and often cuts off our conversations. She calls it the Republican Train. Seems to fit.
