I am a recent web comic addict who started with Ghastly's Ghastly comic (sadly on hold for now!) then on to 8:1 and now I am addicted to Fallen Angels Used Books, Girl Genius and Ugly Girl! Keep it up you guys! You are providing the most fun the internet has to offer!
peace...

Howdy.
I'm Andy.
And wondering where all of those Michigan google jobs are at.
I have no life which makes me sad.
But gives me time to have three webcomics.
I also read a lot of webcomics when I'm not getting turned down for burger-flipping jobs cause I don't have a college education (not bitter).
And this is how I stumbled upon 8:1. The pogs on the front page work! Anyway, the interesting and unique art style is what grabbed me and the excellent story kept me reading for all this time. Keep up the good work! *thumbsup*

I'm Freddie Freelance, an aquaintance of Duff's from another board. I don't make pogs, but I drink POG. I have little to say about Egg Salad, but I believe that "This Town Is A Sealed Tuna Sandwich:"
I also like to use Capitol Letters in my posts, Thank You.his town.. this town..
This town we’re in is just a
Sealed tuna sandwich with the wrapper glued.
We get a few in every tour.
They’re always such a fucking bore.
I can’t wait till we blow this town and
Work a place with some local hot action!
Rev. Dr. Frederick J. Freelance, Ph.D., D.F.S.
I'm known as "Freezey" to the internet, "Devin" otherwise. I come from the great white north known as Canada... in the western, most americanized part known as Calgary. I'll be in Chicago next week though, for a "holiday"(hurrah, pointless information!). Been reading 8:1 for about a year now- not only is it a nice comic but it also has musical connections to countless bands I enjoy (ex. rainer maria) and easy-to-relate to characters.
I can't even stand Egg Salad when it's fresh, nevermind out of a vending machine. Sorry.

Wow. You came. Welcome. Feel like I should offer you some grape juice or something.Freddie Freelance wrote:I'm Freddie Freelance, an aquaintance of Duff's from another board. Oh man, PAL... End of Things hurts my soul. Between 8:1, End of Things, and Property of Scott, my life is so full of awesome art, great use of black and white, and angst-y-ness. So great. I once again offer my humble and far from sufficient thanks for the awesome-ness. I now start a quest to search for pay pal buttons to give more material thanks.

Well I'm moving right around the time the grind starts, too, so I count on losing myself... unless I manage to make those 12 buffer pages within the next 9 days like I planned.....yeahduff wrote:Sounds like a good idea, but I'm moving soon, thus I'll lose less than a month into it. Good luck, though.
Too bad the timing isn't good for you either.

Ravenswood. Much bigger place.
Oh wow, thanks! I missed this somehow. I usually don't check stickies because I'm dumb like that.orphevs wrote:Oh man, PAL... End of Things hurts my soul. Gestural, man. It's the way to go.
We visited the new place one last time today to sign the lease. It's pretty exciting to have a bedroom that can fit more than just the bed. And while we're not as central to young hipster culture spots, we have easy access to it and we're in a much quieter area with fewer jagoffs.
