Howdy. I'm mike. I found 8:1 on a banner from another comicgenesis page and I enjoy it greatly! I really like the style of drawing. I'm thinking of starting up my own webcomic but I need to learn to draw first...

As for the egg salad. Well, stuff out of vending machines is just plain bad. I once got a cheese and onion pie out of a vending machine when I was drunk. All did not end well :(

Ohoh! My name is Nick, I've been reading 8:1 for a year and a half now. I really enjoy innovative black and white artwork and true to life stories. I think I found 8:1 after reading The End of Things.


I myself have never sampled machine-vended egg salad and often caution others to avoid it. Here is a picture I drew of a circular man throwing up a... red... ball gag? :ick:

So, uh, "intorduce"ing myself.

Smith.
Age is a little sketchy, but I don't remember the Eighties, and not because I was on too many drugs.
Hometown is the District of Mother Fucking Columbia, but I'm currently stuck out in the Deep Fried South.

Being vegan, the egg salad from the vending machine holds special terrors for me.
Also, I was left in the wild as a baby, and raised by chickens, so eating their feotuses would be wrong.
I'm fairly certain I spelled feotus wrong.

I've been reading 8:1 for a while now, and it's the true king of angstridden twenty-something-year-old angst comics. Also has lovely art.

8:1 is sexy. Anyways, hello, I'm Matt, hailing from Paris, France. 17 years old, vacation, reading through the archives has been a mighty pleasant evening, and I wish to express my gratitude for the laughs and the angst.

Egg salad would probably sound fun in german, if only I could remember how egg is said in the aforementioned language.
