Right, so who did a father's day comic?

I did not, I was too lazy. I did get my dad a card though.

I did not, because I forgot about it until the last second.

I also had some personal reasons that I'm really not going to get into.

Father's Day isn't until the first Sunday in September down here.

But I won't do one then either.

For two reasons. One, none of the kids in my strip have dads (as far as the story goes), and Two, there'd be no point doing one for my old man. He'd much rather I just get him a slab of beer.

I would too, cos I could pinch four.

I didn't for two reasons:

a) Father's day is... uhm, I don't know when it is here, but it's not now.

b) My father doesn't know that I make a webcomic, which makes the whole thing slightly pointless.

My dad doesn't even have the internet :P. No point.

Didn't get a card for any of my parents' things (I have many parents.) I just called them.

Taking a holiday as an excuse to do filler is one thing: Taking a corporately created holiday specifically designed to promote shopping as an excuse to do filler is another.

Yeah, because showing appreciation to your parents is just SUCH a waste.

Random humour, maybe?

You could do it any old day, but that would seem a bit random.

Or you could do what I do and show them appreciation on their birthdays. Works especially well since my mother agrees with CBF.

Nope.

Heh, my poor dad...I did a mother's day one, but no father's day one. But I'm not really playing favourites or anything...I'm in the middle of a storyline right now and it would have been hard to fit it in.

Not sound all depressing or anything, but since I don't have a dad, it would be kind of pointless to make a father's day card. In fact, I'm pretty sure I didn't know father's day was coming up. :-?

and I'm in the process of speeding up my comic releases so it would have been hard to do anyway...

No. Because I'd have to make it for Sunday.

And then it'd have to be in color.

And my Mom would get pissed that I didn't make one for Mother's Day.

Too much hassle.

And I'm lazy.
