Valar Morghulis - Michiko Monogatari & Tehuti
For horribly wrong without tentacles or gimps, Kite. Its bad bad bad god no wrong. "The characters in this story are 21. Especially the tiny japanese schoolgirls. ESPECIALLY." There are some awesome action sequences though. And 3 foot dicks. Did I forget to mention that?
For bizarre, there was this one anime from waay back, I don't remember the name, but there were houses chasing Alice in Wonderland. I dunno, it was an anime music video with "White Rabbit" by Janis Joplin as the theme. It fit.

BPS
That anime is called BPS, or "Battle Programmer Shirase". And geez - we only watched 2 and a half full episodes. You should see some of the stuff that happens later.rock_dash wrote:I nominate whatever the hell it was we watched at the cookout, with the super hacker who kept looking at the little gir's panties, and the suprise penis in the explosion. Oh, and the King of America. Can't forget him.
Here we stand, here we fall; history don't care at all. Make the bed, light the light; Lady Mercy won't be home tonight.

FLCL just messed me up. I never knew what was going on. It was all so disjointed and weird . . . Guh . . . Also, the one with the kid and the bat . . . Cannot for the life of me remember what that one's called.
A really freaky one I saw recently was Petite Cossette, about a little girl ghost. Little girl ghosts are the creepiest things ever.

Since nobody has mentioned it yet, I figure I might as well throw The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiyu out there. Each of the three secondary characters has a completely different explanation of what the hell is going on, and the episodes are showed in random order. That and the protagonist never seems surprised by anything at all. "What's that? We're in an empty alternate dimension generated by your brain in some bizzare fashion? Well thats a shame. I'm gonna go make tea"
As others have said, FLCL is out there. I've been slowly indoctrinating my older sister in anime, and FLCL damn near ruined my efforts. I had to explain that while it hurts your brain, it is sort of a pleasant pain.

Um.. I agree....Kite is one that I watched once and will probably never watch again.
Akira I like and will watch over and over again. When you figure that Japan is the only country to ever be nuked, it's no wonder they have a future-apocolypse fear.
But as odd as Kite was...why the heck am I addicted to Bible Black? It's just messed up in all sorts of ways. Satanic hermaphrodites, virgin sacrifices and a love story? Gahh...how can Manase fall in love while everyone around him is becoming demon chow?

I love Revolutionary Girl Utena. Animation seems a little stiff, but the ending is beautiful. Same thing with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, except with beautiful animation along with the ending.
Fate Stay Night was pretty dang weird. And for some reason, whenever other people walked by, there were awkward showers scenes and people looking at me funny (only 2 in it, really!) The manga apparently makes more sense cause I needed to look up info on it to make sense of what the heck was up with some of the characters (great mythology and hisorical usage, identifying who's who makes you feel all special.) I dislike main protaganist guy though. Sexist bastard, let the swordbunny fight, jerk!
Also, technically, the US, Spain (we dropped one on accident that didn't go off,) India, Russia, China, N. Korea, and a bunch of other countries have been nuked (if only by themselves in testing.)
