The Don
'Ey there you thugs and broads, welcome to the foist job. Before we get rollin', here's some basic rules. I know yous folks aint exactly the law-abiding types, but you cross Don Fabritzie, you're outta the family for good - if y'know what I means. Ahem...
1) IT IS NIGHT. Your kind of work makes you no friend to sunlight. When a job is finished to your satisfaction, announce DAYLIGHT and report to Don Fabritzie. (This allows for purpose and freedom)
2) ONLY DON FABRITZIE assigns jobs. How you carry them out is up to you.
3) INCLUDE YOUR NAME in the upper left of every post. Also introduce yourself your first time, and post your picture so the rest of the crew knows who they're dealing with.
4) STAY IN CHARACTER AND ON TASK. Just do.
NIGHT
The city streets are dark and wet, and a single streetlamp lights your corner of urban mediocrity. You wait. Last night you got your orders from Don Fabritzie, himself, and the Don never asks twice.
The Job: You are to meet a crew of the family's finest behind Benny's on Park and 3rd. Benny's an old friend of the family, and his cellar hides more than bootleg whiskey.
...Once assembled, your team is to knock three times and Benny will lead you through a trapdoor into the basement beside Hawthorne's Jewelery. Hawthorne's is not a big hit, but the old man refuses to pay protection, and the score will prove your loyalty to the family, not to mention help finance the Don's next big move.
...Be cautious - Hawthorne's front door is thick oak, double-bolted and wired to an alarm bell. The two other possible entrances both lead to a back room. They are a small window, not wide enough for an adult to enter - and a back door, simply latched, but also set with an alarm. The alarms can be turned off only from the inside. The back room is guarded by an old, black dog. Not particularly fast, but with jaws like a bear trap.
Begin when you have enough of a crew to do the job. Introduce yourselves and get to know each other as you plan it. Oh, and one more thing - if you dissapoint Don Fabritzie, you might want to get used to the idea of cement footwear.
