Note to self: List what stuff we have in the kitchen that hasn't been packed and boxed up.

My only concern with french toast is the time it'll take to make.
French toast doesn't take very long to make. I can have enough ready for 40 people in about twenty minutes - certainly no more than half an hour - and the plates can be taken out far earlier than that so some folks can go ahead and get started, and I'm sure that not everyone is gonna want french toast, neh? ;)
what ingredients you'll need
Initially:

Vegetable Oil
Bread (white or wheat or both)
Eggs
Milk
Salt
Pepper
Cinnamon

After that, I tend to just grab whatever spices I think look good and throw 'em in there. Nothing weird, mind . . . and if all I've got is the above stuff, that's fine too.

Well, I suppose that since Jim's volunteered to cook french toast, we'll be eating. I'd like waffles.

Are we gonna have any fruit? Because blueberries at least sound good with waffles....if Jim and I have enough money by then, we'll donate some fruit.

Are you implying they don't have Belgians on them?! I feel gyped.

According to the last once over of the kitchen, we have a few pots and pans, a couple bowls, and an assortment of various untensils. Your standard kitchen.

Might not be a bad idea, Lego, with as many people planning to cook at the Kolters as we have. :-?

Wait...maybe I missed something, but isn't it traditionally an attack on IHOP on Sunday? When did it get changed to french toast?

'course, I'm behind on many of these cookout threads, so I'm not complaining if it was changed. I'm just not up to speed.
