Oh absolutely, that's what the internet is for after all.

I thought it was always about the sizes of the cucumbers, not the potatos.
This is going in my notebook titled "Things I Didn't Know about Surface Dwellers."

I have a potato. I plan to devour it later with butter and salsa.

In honor of this thread, I'm going to have potatoes tonight. Probably actually make breakfast out of it.. eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns with some toast.

... yes, for dinner. Nyah.

unfortunately, the saga of my potatoes came to a rather disturbing end. Seems we must have picked up the oldest bag in the store... not even a week old, and they all had mold all over the bottoms and the potatoes were discolored like crazy on the inside.

Ah well. I still wanted hash browns, so I'm improvised and used french fries instead.

... you know, crinkle fries actually don't make half bad hash browns. :p

Hash browns are only good from one of those small town diners that most people only eat at on vacation. And they're even better when they're burned!

It's strange, but true.

I have a sudden urge to go on vacation and get me some hash browns.

How big is 20 oz? I can't think in weight. D:

My mom grew purple potatoes one year--well, more violet I guess. Those were cool. She always pulls the potatoes in early August though, so they're always fairly small. One of my friends' parents waited till late September, and theirs were friggin' monsters, mostly like Net's tater.

Living in dorms means limited cooking ability - it's just not convenient.

However, they did have potato burritos at lunch. Serendipity!

The last time I made hash browns I grated chunks out of my thumb. Didn't notice till I saw the blood.
