Very helpful, thank you ^_^

Next question: are the dimensions and so on the same? (This is code for "can I cheat and put my sampler pages into Generations, or do I need to draw something new?")

I'm rather new to all of this. The OP said that this was the "third installation" of the sampler. I would like to get a better idea of what the sampler is. Where can I take a look at Samplers #1 and #2?

http://thedoom.be/samplers/ (Thanks RA!)

Older samplers can be found here and if you backtrack through the sampler threads, you may find other places. Be nice to RA's bandwidth, please. :D

I've PMed a couple people about Sampler submissions.

No. This thing is not dead. It's only taken 6 months to get finished.
That puts us about on schedule. :D

Anyone willing to contribute a last minute submission?
Covers?

I might submit something. Might. It all depends on my speed I guess, I need to make some comic thumbnails done, get the layout right, get the character designs done... I'll try. I'll check what the deadline is after I've posted this.

Since BerserkerCrew hasn't replied with the cover, I decided to make one of my own. We still need a back cover if anyone's up for that. Comment text to go inside the front cover would be nice too.

I was thinking we should include something that explains Comic Genesis and why we're doing this sampler, but it seems to me that if I ask for it I'll be the one writing it. *sigh*

EDIT: Sorry I missed the UK comix thing. :shifty:

ah this was berserkercrew,
sorry, i haven't been on the up and up on the thread, i wasn't pm'ed or anything, but i guess it's on me to check it myself.
i was waiting till all the comics were chosen to ink a cover and if anyone was interested color it, but that's a nifty piece of cover right there.

ha ha now what do i do?

I did PM "BERSERKERCREW." I guess I should have decided it didn't go through and tried again.

Since we have exactly the right number of pages, I was thinking of just arranging them and getting the PDF made, skipping the voting phase since it's been 6 months already.

You're welcome to submit a back cover or force a vote on the front cover. Either is fine by me. The characters bursting through the page would look great on the back. :D

phew, ah i'm not a fan of coloring, so if i find someone i want and they are willing, can i give them the task, and i dunno if this is considered for back or front, so i can chat about the words on the front by pm. and i really am a fan of BASE02 font, but i dunno if that can be used. (dafonts.com)
it basically the font i use for my comic.
honorable mentions i did put fallen angels character in there somewhere,
as well as the very obligatory maria and michelle with at very suggestive eye level. ha ha.
ryclaude is there, i was very selfish in who i drew in there,
but i'm happy with the way it came out, though i didn''t specify the part in
gen-tan's hair that would be fixed with color.

also i am redrawing the first page for the sampler, if it is able to make it for the final cut, it's much better and more dramatic, but it'll have the same text.
:D
