Last year it was 30 something Celcius for this thing, in early March! O_o
But this year it's real England! Ah joy, rain, tourist repellent. It should make finding eats easier to find at least.
Didn't we stop doing chips in newspapers about twenty years ago? Worries over poisonous ink dontcha' know... I always find it silly when they give you 'specially printed newspaper for chips'. They did that on the Isle of Wight. Really, what's the point? Hrm...dotLaura wrote:well i'm uncultured, and so it looks like i will just pick up a burger on the way home.
or treat the foreigners to some proper fish n chips in newspaper.. mm, tasty and sanitary!

Arrrr! I can't upload pictures until I get my Flickr account paid up and finish some homework - dagnabit I'm gonna' be slow!
Oh well, excellent time had by all, people were fun, talked well, got all sorts of contacts and got lots of photos (alas I only brought one lens); for eats afterwards Matsu Japanese met and exceeded my expectations (catering around 30+ unbooked webcomic people in total); a trudge to Embankment with copious DDR followed (mr Bob's a natural); rounded off with a long stumble into Imperial College of London's student bar, finding an abandonned room, bringing beer inside, and acting out our newly purchased comics in live action - Darken will never be the same again, thanks to RYClaude.
All in all: Excellent.
I hope next year is even better ^.^
