Who's your favourite character from your own comic?
It used to be Malph.... I loved writing for him, I really did. Then somebody went and accused him of being a Ralph Wiggum ripoff, a similarity I never really saw, and the fun got totally sucked out of it almost immediatly.
But.... the fun's coming back, so I guess he's becoming my favorite character again.

Hmm... it's sort of a toss-up between William and Zalen.
Zalen has some awesome magic, and looks different from the stereotypical gray-haired, old man mage. He can cast Million Volts while Thomas is still learning how to cast Lightning. Unfortunately, it's also easy to knock him out in battle. It seems like he and Dustin get into fights fairly often, though, and he'd go down FAST.
William is a lot nicer, a lot more friendly than you might expect a giant to be. He can certainly lighten up the mood in certain situations (such as the infamous stopping the train scene early in the series), but he can also get quite upset when, say, Thomas refuses to listen to him. It's also said that he, too, has quite some magic, and it's very hard to bring him down.
So, I'd have to say William is my favorite of the characters.

Kel, clearly. She gets more panel time than any of the others and readers have told me over the years that I appear to be in love with her. It's only the ink bottle that loves her, honest!

i think joel rainer. punks, anti-heroes, and the like are all well and good, but an uber-powerful psychic who disagrees with his government is too interesting to turn down
"VOOM!" is what a space dreadnought's main cannon should sound like.

Beware of McDuffies! He disagrees with me on everything (except that one thing, and I'm not sure if he was being sarcastic or not), and he also steals panties. He is a wily and dangerous foe, who must be succumbed through subtle and highly strategic methods.Kat North wrote:Wow, I have a bodyguard.

That's strategic? :pJim North wrote: *monkey punches McD right in the mcduffies!*
My fav character from TTG is Dottiar. He's grumpy, he's sarcastic, he's in WAY over his head... and he's a lot of fun to write for. I know Michelle's favorite character is Aroni, just because she likes drawing him pretty. :p
Though I'll be honest. Since the original story was written, Tobec's part has changed DRAMATICALLY... and he's quickly becoming quite an interesting character in and of himself.

Well... i would say my main character melf... or rudolph... Even though i havn't introduced either really yet (only on the 4th strip... well 4th strip that is coloured and done) I have 16 more pages to colour tho that are all inked.
As for why he is my favourite.....Because i love his depressed nervousness. And Rudolph... well you will have to wait and see why

I disagree with you on a lot of stuff...does that mean that I should beware of myself as well?Jim North wrote: Beware of McDuffies!
