Rules of the Forum/list of dropdowns

This forum is for developing and discussing crossover events and organizing theme-based dropdowns (of which there are many).

THIS thread will stay at the top of the forum -- if you'd like to advertise a DROPDOWN OR CROSSOVER EVENT dropdown you are running or organizing, post a link to the signup thread or page. ONLY.

I will delete off-topic posts on this thread. Otherwise, I will tend to let things run into utter chaos before intervening.

Note: If you have a dropdown that is not listed on the old Dropdown Directory page and does not have an index page of its own, you will need to make one before your dropdown can be listed.
If you are on the old directory, but don't have an index page, you are highly encouraged to make one.

Wasn't sure how to do this, so I decided to tack this onto the list dropdown s. But this only applies to threads. Suppose one of the moderators might know how best to put this in the right place, or organize it better. or if its not needed just toss it. not sure, but I felt like somthing like this is needed.

The concept is to display active dropdowns here on the Dropdowns and crossovers board. hopefully this will help and people won't be waiting for a response and it never come, or put drop down on thier sites and never be added.. cause that just isn't fair. The "(?) means I don't know if they are still adding from the forums or not.

These dropdowns still work, but are off-line with regards to adding new members. I am no longer moderating them -- even to the point of deleting them. They are Zombie dropdowns.

Sorry. A new one might be created by someone willing and able to maintain it.

Is it possible to have the rights to the current Depot, or should one just create a new one. The reason I ask is because its on Gear. Guess I could bother Phal (who I believe has that current ownership of that) less McDuffies, has it.

I'll look into it. I'd not mind taking it over, since this is the one forum I pretty much hit everyday.

I moderate these two:
Keenelven Dropdown - Keenime Dropdown

Both active and fabulous. Keenelven for elf and pointy-eared fantasy race comics, Keenime for comics influenced strongly by japanese animation and comics (or with influences similar enough to "fit in" with the rest of keenime).

IFRAME based code so no broken image woes! Both random with random spotlights (like the newsbox on crack).

If you wanted to start a new thread for the dropdowns listing, I would unannounce this one and put that one up in its place for you (assuming faub or phact doesn't get here first).
