the quote thread

A place for myself to post the comics storyline in prose form, plus a current comic discussion and most likely some random threads.

You know, sometimes the hippy in me really does feel bad about eating meat (on the odd occasion, a picture of how cute a cow is pops into my head and I can't eat a burger that day, etc...heh; in third grade we had some adorable pet chicks in class, and they put me off chicken for about three months)...but damn it all, it's tasty! Not to mention the way a human's teeth are set up. We're meant to be omnivores, and there's just no getting around that.

Love that song. (It's mostly a great CD...one or two songs I'd replace with something else)

Tori Amos wrote:I was two and a half when I began playing the piano and I don't remember a time when I didn't play. I always remember playing, I never remember not playing. It was innate. My voice came with age. I was no Shirley Temple. It took years and years to develop. Like you know how some little kids have great voices at first but get worse later? Well I was the opposite. I vocally developed much later.

I have to say that, aside from that being a good quote, that's also a pretty cool last name! :)
